Current projects

kirkbycollege.notts.sch.uk - i designed from scratch and currently manage the website for the school that i work for as part of my new responsibility. i am also responsible for the virtual learning environment, which i am in the process of implementing.

learnbusiness.co.uk - a virtual learning portal for teachers and students of business studies, finance and economics. i share my resources freely with the learning community through this site. the domain teachbusiness.co.uk also points to this site.

uLearnIT.co.uk - a virtual learning portal for teachers and students of ICT and computer science. i share my resources freely with the learning community through this site.

jabunet.co.uk is my personal homepage. richfegan.co.uk and richardfegan.co.uk are also registered to this site.

Old projects (in reverse chronographic order)

nedmc - the north east derbyshire music centre wanted a new web site to coincide with their move to new facilities and their rebranding. i spent a morning at the centre to better understand what their needs were and collected a selection of their new promotional literature. in addition to the site design, i provided a 2 hour training seminar and site manual.

cssbeta - *no longer updated* this is not a website, but a testing ground for some new site designs using a css-based 'skin' design system. all of the designs are created from the same content page, by separating content from design. check out page 2 for an additional range of page 'skins'.

the resourceboard - *no longer updated* a site i created for colleagues whilst working in technical support for a large computer and electronics retail chain. the virtual pc is a collection of 'virtual' application interfaces for common computer programs that we would typically provide support on.

business @ sutton centre - whilst on my first placement at sutton centre college, i provided a website for the business department. the site design is little more than an adaption of the 'ntu' site, listed below. i also provided a 2 hour training package and supporting site manual for the college. the manual can be viewed here.

ntu - during my teacher training at nottingham trent university, i created a portal for my group in order for us to keep in contact during placement

jabunet v2 - the second design phase for my homepage now no longer exists, though here is a screenshot of what it used to look like (i will not damage your brain with the first version of the site - my first ever site - which was quite gruesome)

kube radio - during my two excellent years as station manager of keele university's own station, i developed a website and pioneered the first webcast of the station across campus. the site and station has grown and evolved since i left, and can be visited at www.kuberadio.com, though i can't claim responsibility for any part of this site.
